Here you can look at some of the work I have created in my time as an audio engineer and sound producer

1. DAW Track

This project was a part of my college course and required me to create a song including samples and synthesisers that I create. This particular song is one of my best, being a modern hard dance track with inspiration from a Ty Dolla Sign and Ye track named F*ck Sumn. In the track I explored different ways to structure this type of genre and I included some of the synths I've made myself using Ableton live, I also included a sampler instrument that I created using 2 different DAWs. In the Link below you can see all the behind the scenes and my workings through the whole track.

2. Recording Project

This project was recorded and partially mixed as a group of 3 including my classmates Dylan Johnstone and Nathan Brown. It is a cover of "Starburster" by Fontaines DC. In the recording stage of the project we tried to recreate the song accurately using the studios at college. We recorded live drums, guitar, bass and vocals while using some midi patches for other instruments within the track. Some basic processing was applied in the studio as a group but after that we each took an individual copy back to the computers to mix it on our own, each using our own mixing techniques and adding our own personalisation.

3. Personal Project

This project is a personal song of mine. I chose to use this particular song as it shows how much I've grown as a producer and how I can hold my own when making a track without any help at college. I've played this song at the DJ studio I go to in Glasgow in a set just to see how it sounded and it didn't sound quite right to me, so I went home and gave it another attempt and now the song works perfectly in a set containing much bigger professionally made songs.
